FAQ

We welcome applications from AI researchers, policy analysts, engineers, lawyers, civil society advocates, and students with interest in AI governance. Multidisciplinary teams are encouraged.

The hackathon will take place over three days in Brussels, Belgium. Exact dates and venue will be announced soon. Stay tuned via our updates.

Participants will work on translating technical AI safety and governance insights into actionable policy recommendations, with a particular focus on the EU regulatory context including the AI Act and related governance frameworks.

You can apply individually or as a team. We will facilitate team formation on Day 1 for participants who register solo.

Teams produce policy briefs, governance frameworks, or regulatory recommendations that are grounded in technical AI safety research and designed for real-world policy impact.
